New Delhi, India – In a landmark event that brought together legal minds from across the country, Smash Squad, owned by Senior Advocate Sonia Mathur, emerges victorious in the inaugural LawStrings Pickleball Premier League – Lawyer’s Edition. Held at Rackonnect Exclusive Padel Pickle Park (REPPP), Mehrauli, the eight-team competition represents the first dedicated pickleball tournament for India’s legal professionals, with formal recognition from the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA).

The tournament blends the rising popularity of pickleball with professional camaraderie, offering a dynamic platform for lawyers to showcase agility, teamwork, and strategy beyond the courtroom. The event witnesses a spirited participation from prominent senior advocates and legal experts.

Champions Crowned After Undefeated Run

Led by Advocate Nachiketa Vajpayee, Smash Squad includes players Sparsh Duggal, Rishabh Rela, Pallavi Kumar, Sanjivani Pattjoshi, and Angad Baxi. The team clinches the Gold Cup after defeating Legal Pickle, a team mentored by Advocate Shrey Sharawat, in a closely contested final match.

"It is one of the greatest feelings to be crowned as champions, while being undefeated during the entire tournament," says Vajpayee, reflecting on the team’s consistent performance throughout the league.

Legal Pickle secures the Silver Cup, while Net-workers, led by Senior Advocate Haripriya Padmanabhan, earns the Bronze Cup. The final standings feature the following teams:
